Acceptable Use and Safety Policy

This Acceptable Use and Safety Policy (“Safety Policy”) establishes standards of conduct for all users of the HUB Healthcare platform (the “Platform”), including clients, caregivers, providers, partners, and visitors (collectively, “Users”).

This Policy is incorporated into the HUB Platform Terms of Service and related agreements. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Safety Policy.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to maintain a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for all participants using the Platform.

Users must conduct themselves in a manner that protects the safety, dignity, privacy, and legal rights of others.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not engage in any conduct that is unlawful, abusive, harmful, unsafe, or disruptive to the Platform or its participants.

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

harassment, threats, intimidation, or discrimination

violence or threats of violence

stalking or unwanted contact

sexual harassment or exploitation

abuse of elderly or vulnerable individuals

fraud, deception, or impersonation

theft or property damage

illegal activity

misuse of personal information

attempts to bypass Platform safeguards

3. Discrimination and Harassment

HUB prohibits discrimination or harassment based on protected characteristics, including but not limited to:

race

ethnicity

national origin

religion

gender

sexual orientation

disability

age

Users must treat each other with respect and professionalism.

4. Unsafe Environments

Users must not request or provide services in environments that pose a clear safety risk.

Examples include:

violent or threatening situations

illegal activities

hazardous conditions

presence of weapons or dangerous materials where safety cannot be maintained

Providers and clients are encouraged to decline or stop services if they feel unsafe.

5. Protection of Vulnerable Individuals

The Platform may involve interactions with elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or others requiring assistance.

Users must not engage in:

neglect

exploitation

financial abuse

emotional abuse

physical abuse

Any suspected abuse should be reported immediately to appropriate authorities where required by law.

6. Prohibited Services

Users may not use the Platform to request or provide services that are:

illegal

dangerous

outside the scope permitted by law

medical or clinical services unless explicitly permitted by law and by Platform policy

The Platform is intended primarily for non‑clinical support services.

7. Privacy and Personal Information

Users must respect the privacy of others.

Users may not:

collect personal data without permission

share private information publicly

misuse sensitive information obtained through the Platform

Information obtained through the Platform should only be used for legitimate purposes related to services.

8. Fraud and Platform Abuse

Users may not:

create fake accounts

manipulate reviews or ratings

misrepresent qualifications

bypass Platform fees or payment systems

attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform

Such actions may result in immediate account suspension.

9. Reporting Safety Concerns

Users are encouraged to report safety concerns or policy violations.

Reports may include:

unsafe behavior

harassment or discrimination

fraud or impersonation

abuse of vulnerable individuals

Reports may be submitted through the Platform or by contacting HUB.

10. Investigations

HUB may investigate reported incidents.

Investigations may include:

reviewing communications

requesting additional information

restricting account access

HUB may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

11. Enforcement

Violations of this Safety Policy may result in:

warnings

account suspension

account termination

removal of content

referral to law enforcement

HUB reserves the right to take action to protect the safety of the Platform and its users.

12. Emergency Situations

The Platform is not an emergency service.

If an emergency occurs, users should contact local emergency services immediately.

13. Changes to This Policy

HUB may update this Safety Policy periodically.

Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
